Located on Tennessee's Cumberland Plateau, with an average elevation of 2,000 feet, Crossville and Cumberland County has a cornucopia of activities for the outdoor enthusiast to enjoy.  Blessed with a perfect average summer temperature of 72.8 degrees, the climate is ideal for time spent outdoors.  Golf, hike or picnic on the 1,720 acres of Cumberland Mountain State Park.  Visit the 100-foot Ozone Falls, so beautiful Walt Disney filmmakers selected its pristine setting to film the movie THE JUNGLE BOOK.  Catch a fish worth talking about at Meadow Park Lake.  In the spring, canoe and kayak on Daddy’s Creek, Clear Creek or the Obed River.  Play tennis on our many courts.  Crossville - Cumberland County is located in the heart of the Cumberland Trail, where hikers enjoy spectacular views from atop Brady and Black Mountain.  Rock climbers traverse the rugged rock walls of Black Mountain. 

Centennial Park has softball fields, voted the best in the United States, a playground for special-needs children, skateboard park, the Bob Hanson Horseshow Pitching Pavilion and a walking trail.  The Dr. Carl T. Duer Soccer complex hosts many soccer games for the surrounding area.  The 79,800-acre Catoosa Wildlife Management Area offers the challenge of small and large game hunting.  Come and enjoy the exciting outdoor activities our area has to offer!
